On Apple’s AMAZING Marketing of iPhone 14 Pro & Dynamic Island

So, Apple literally just announced the new iPhone 14 and Pro variants with some cool new features, many of which were expected If you’re curious, here are the raw stats: In terms of general impressions, the phone looks good and its new design will probably be a mainstay for a little while But, I want to bring up one thing that I’m really impressed by Apple with Over the past few months, this new pill design has been getting clowned on by a lot of people Yes, some people have expressed how much they like it and such But, many people have been turned off by it The problem that Apple faced with this new iPhone is that it needs a redesign… that’s a fact Every other year, the iPhone needs something new But, Apple can’t use the new under-the-display camera tech, yet It’s too new and can’t be put on the mass market… yet So instead the company, as always, decided to do something different from the others Many other competitors, such as Samsung, have gone for the hole punch design, which looks fine but doesn’t have much for people to talk about Apple needs this iPhone to create some buzz, some pizzazz So, what did it do? It went for something different, a pill cutout Very different I might add Apple likes to “Think Different” And as a result, yeah, we get this new stark design change that no one has really seen before And as I said before, some people will like it and some people won’t But one thing that Apple really did well that I gotta commend was market it They didn’t just say, “Yeah, that’s our new pill It’s the notch that we’re going to be stuck with for a couple years” No, instead, they made it the whole show They owned up to it They call it the “Dynamic Island,” as if it was something that was made for the iPhone all along, instead of just a compromise of the design It’s a whole portion of the screen that’s dedicated to notifications, background tasks, etc. It’s a really neat feature with some dynamic animations and a really sweet article that go along with it And the thing is… Apple has always done this It created something that, through the rumors, sounds kinda boring and bland, and even ridiculous But then turns it around with its marketing and makes it desirable It’s impressive, but also quite dubious The iPhone is going in the direction of being all screen That’s a fact But, this one is a stepping stone So, is it worth it to buy? Well, Apple definitely maintains its value on the resale market That’s for sure And the company also sells many phones, so you won’t be the outlier with this one But, know that this tech, again, is a stepping stone It’s not the crème de la crème So if you need it, absolutely buy it But if you don’t, think about it, but don’t get too caught up in the hype So, what do you think of this new pill cutout? Do you like it? Let me know in the comment section down below My name is Cyrus. It’s spelled like “Cyrus,” pronounced like “See Rooster,” just take out the “ter” Thank you very much for reading and have a wonderful day! Peace.
